Honor of Kings‘ latest update is set to introduce players to a highly-anticipated new hero, Chi Cha, the Successor of the Five Arms. With a complex yet rewarding kit, Chi Cha is poised to ignite the battlefield as a versatile new Fighter/Assassin.
Chi Cha’s signature mechanic revolves around the ability to switch between multiple weapon forms. This unique combat style means she can seamlessly adapt from skirmishing and ranged poke to executing high-burst assassination plays, promising a high-skill ceiling for dedicated jungle and solo-lane enthusiasts.
Aside from the new character, the update also includes several quality-of-life and competitive adjustments:
- Battlefield Fine-Tuning: The map has undergone subtle but significant changes, with increased minion waves for mid-lane, and reduced late-game attributes for Super Minions. This aims to maintain competitive balance and prevent prolonged steamrolls as the match progresses.
- Revamped Ranked System: The new ranked system will now acknowledge and award individual excellence even in defeat. High-performing players who achieve an exceptional “Personal Rating” or secure “Highlight Moments” can now conserve or gain Stars after a loss, reducing the frustration of poor teamwork.
- Breaking the Language Barrier: Perhaps most exciting of all, the update introduces real-time voice transcription and translation for in-game voice chat, allowing squads to communicate seamlessly. This feature is currently available for players who speak Chinese, English, Indonesian, and Malay.
