Developer imissmyfriends.studio and publisher Wholesome Games Presents have announced that Fishbowl, a narrative game where slice-of-life meets surreal, is heading to PC via Steam and PlayStation 5 in April 2026.
The brand-new trailer shown off during today’s Wholesome Snack showcase gives players a glimpse of the journey Alo goes through as she moves to a new city, nurturing friendships and rediscovering her past along the way.
Drowning in feelings of grief, isolation, and the responsibilities of adulthood, Alo receives an unlikely lifeline in the form of a magical talking fish from her childhood. With Paplet as her companion, Alo unravels the threads of her past, giving way to a new future.
Based in India, imissmyfriends.studio is made of two developers Rhea Gupte and Prateek Saxena. Previously, Prateek worked as a UX designer at a non-profit and Rhea as a multidisciplinary artist and writer. Fishbowl is their first ever game, beginning as a part-time project in 2021 and evolving into full-time in 2023. Shortly after, Fishbowl was selected as part of Sony’s India Hero Project.
