The U.S.’ First-Ever Gundam Store Opens In Chicago This December 12

The first-ever permanent Gundam store in the U.S., The Gundam Base, is set to open its doors this December 12 at the Fashion Outlets of Chicago in Rosemont, Illinois. With a host of attractions for fans to enjoy, the store aims to become a one-stop shop for Gundam fans of all ages experience levels.

The store will span over 3,000 square feet, featuring exclusive Gunpla kits, merchandise, displays, photo spots, and even a TCG play area for fans to enjoy. As an additional bonus, fans can redeem a special Gundam TCG promo card with any purchase, or spend $100 or more to redeem an exclusive Gundam Base Chicago luggage tag.

To celebrate the launch of The Gundam Base in Chicago, Bandai Namco will host a Gundam Base World Tour pop-up at the Fashion Outlets of Chicago, located just steps away from the main store. This limited-time pop-up, running from December 12 to January 11, will feature exclusive merchandise, special Gunpla displays, and interactive workshops.
