Developed by Thailand indie studio Bit Egg, Lost and Found Co is a cozy hidden object game where you help Ducky, a duck-turned-human intern, with their job of finding lost items for quirky townsfolk. Last month the game released its biggest demo yet, introducing its new decorating mode, a day and night system, and a massive new cat café level.
For fans of cozy games and the hidden object genre, Lost and Found Co. is the gift that keeps on giving. Inspired by the heartwarming and whimsical worlds from our childhood puzzle books, each level introduces new and magical destinations featuring thousands of interactable characters and objects to discover in a lively animated map.
Each level is massive in size and densely packed with objects to discover, turning the simple task of finding missing items into a surprisingly challenging experience. For the casual players, Lost and Found Co. helps you along the way by providing hints on where to find each lost item. You can even find inky creatures named Juju’s scattered across the level to unlock more detailed hints.
For more experienced hidden object-hunters, each level comes with hidden stories and even secret rooms to discover by interacting with the environment. The game rewards your curiosity with a long list of optional objectives, built for players who want to uncover every single secret this game has hidden in its levels.
At the end of each level, return to the Lost and Found Co. office to purchase themed decorations and customise your own Ducky Room. While the decorating mode is still a little clunky at the point of writing this, it shows a lot of promise with its wide catalog of themed decorations and environment customisation. You can even add animated characters and pets to your room to bring the scene to life.
The public demo for Lost and Found Co. is now available on Steam, featuring a short preview of the main story and side quests, as well as the new Ducky Room decorating feature.
