Last weekend at Xsolla Curine Academy, Indie Jam 2024 returned to celebrate the rising Southeast Asian game development industry! The event was hosted for its second year in a row, featuring over 20 upcoming indie titles and student demos from across Malaysia and Indonesia.

What begins as a simple funeral wake spirals into something far more sinister. Fallen Petal (Pergi Studio)
Fallen Petal is a Xian Xia hack-and-slash game. It follows a Water Cultivator, Ye Ying, on his journey to save his newborn son from an evil demon lord, Xing Tian. Players play as Ye Ying, as they have to hack and slash their way through hordes of enemies to get to the demon lord. Alongside Ye Ying is his trusted partner, Xuan Gui, a black tortoise with water abilities.

Hikayat Pak Ya (Walking Fish Studio)
Pak Ya, a powerful beastman warrior who lost his home to the war, is sent to destroy a human village.
