Pokémon Malaysia has announced the opening of Southeast Asia’s first Pokémon Gym Deluxe store in Malaysia. In collaboration with AM Cards Collectibles, the store serves as a community hub where Pokémon Trading Card Game fans can battle, trade, or simply share their love for Pokémon with fellow members of the community.
The store officially opens in Bandar Botanik, Klang with a launch event this 11th to 13th October 2024.
You can still catch the Pokémon Buddy Up Event on 13th and 20th October, which is aimed at introducing new players to the world of Pokémon TCG. Players will be able to purchase one pre-constructed deck in store, as well as receive an exclusive set of 64 Pikachu themed sleeves to kickstart their TCG journey.
The Pokémon TCG has been steadily increasing their presence in Malaysia over the last year. One of their bigger activities was the Pokémon TCG Academia Bootcamp held last November in Pavilion Bukit Jalil. The event served to teach newbies how to play the game and even featured a mock tournament.
