‘Ninja Slayer: Neo-Saitama in Flames’ Based On The Novel Is Out Now

Ninja Slayer: Neo-Saitama in Flames released on Nintendo Switch and Steam on July 24th. This date also marks the serialization anniversary of the original Ninja Slayer manga and is the very first indie game collaboration between Kadokawa Game Linkage and ABC Animation.

Released by Kadokawa Shoten, the game is based on a 2012 novel series by Bradley Bond, Philip Ninj@ Morzez and Yoshiaki Tabata. Released by Kadokawa Shoten, the original series has sold more than 4.44 million copies in novels and manga plus, released its own anime adaptation in 2015.

Set in the cyberpunk dystopian city of Neo-Saitama, players control the Ninja Slayer, hell-bent on revenge against the evil ninjas that caused the death of your wife and child. Run free through immaculately crafted stages inspired by a comic book aesthetic, and fight eight boss characters including The Dark Ninja – Raomoto’s trusted aide and the man who killed your family!

Kill or be killed! Employ skills such as the “Ninja Dash” to slaughter a larger number of enemies in one go. But beware the “Death Kill” technique used by the evil sword of Beppin! When the Ninja Slayer fills up his gauge, he can unleash a powerful special move on his enemies. Use it strategically to save you in a pinch!

The final battle against Soukai Syndicate boss, Raomoto, will take place at the top of the Tokorozawa Pillar. As he’ll employ the use of both of his katanas and ninja skills, this challenging battle is only for the most courageous of fighters!
