J-pop fans rejoice! Japanese artist imase, best known for his viral hit Night Dancer, is coming to Malaysia this June. Organized by Gorgeous Entertainment and ACO Media, imase’s 1st Asian tour “Shiki” will be making a stop at Zepp Kuala Lumpur this 20th June, 2024 (Thursday).
For the uninitiated, imase is a self-taught guitar player and composer who started pursuing music at the age of 20. He shot to fame by uploading his music online, with his song Have a Nice Day garnering over 10 million views on TikTok and 7.5 million views on YouTube. Even more impressively, imase’s most popular song to date, Night Dancer, has achieved over 180 million views on YouTube.
While most of his songs are written and performed in Japanese, imase’s music has captivated many listeners around the world with their seemingly simple but catchy melodies that transcend language. You won’t want to miss this chance to experience his many hits live!
