Maximum Entertainment and Polychroma Games have announced Afterimages, a brand-new DLC for the award-winning narrative adventure Until Then. The DLC is set to arrive later this year, launching simultaneously with the Xbox Series X|S release of Until Then.
Afterimages introduces two new chapters that explore grief, memory, and the quiet persistence of life in the wake of loss. Sofia returns home to confront memories she left behind, while Mark encounters both a new lover and an old friend. Through their separate journeys, both characters must navigate what it means to move forward while carrying the weight of absence.
Players will discover fresh gameplay moments woven into the intimate storytelling experience that defines Until Then, including tarot reading and baking minigames, alongside expanded in-game phone features such as dating apps and video platforms. Reconnect with beloved characters and encounter new faces across two deeply personal narrative chapters.
Until Then is a slice-of-life indie narrative journey set in the Philippines, following Mark Borja, a high schooler navigating the ups and downs of teenage life. The game has been nominated for multiple awards, including the 2025 GLAAD Media Awards for Outstanding Video Game, Indie Game Awards for Emotional Impact, and TIGA Awards for Best Narrative Game.
