Pokémon Day returns this February 27, celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Pokémon franchise! Trainers around the world can tune in to the Pokémon Presents livestream to catch the latest announcements from the series, happening on YouTube and Twitch at 6AM PST (10PM MYT) .
Ahead of the livestream, The Pokémon Company group announced that Pokémon FireRed Version and Pokémon LeafGreen Version, the 2004 remakes of Pokémon Red and Pokémon Green, will be added to the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 on February 27. These titles will be made available to play as soon as the Pokémon Presents livestream ends.
While the exact contents of the livestream are still being kept under wraps, we do know of some of Pokémon’s plans for its 30th anniversary. These include the previously-announced Pokémon collaboration with LEGO, which will also launch on February 27; and the What’s Your Favourite? campaign, which was unveiled at the 2026 Super Bowl.
