This February 28th to March 1st, the largest student-led game jam in the world makes its way to Kuala Lumpur. Campfire is a two-day global hackathon organised by high schoolers, with distributed events running in over 200 cities worldwide at the same time.
Open to high school ages and younger, Campfire Kuala Lumpur is designed to be a friendly experience for beginners. Not only is registration free, no prior experience is required to join in the fun. There will also be workshops, mentors, and teammates to help budding developers every step of the way.
Campfire is a part of Hack Club, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that empowers over 45,000 teenagers around the world to code through a network of coding clubs and events. The Kuala Lumpur edition is brought to you by the hosts of previous successful hackathons and game jams including Daydream Kuala Lumpur.
