XD Games showed off a brand-new trailer featuring more details from their upcoming Heartopia x My Little Pony collaboration event, which soft-launches today with a special pre-launch event. Check out the trailer below:
The week-long Heartopia x My Little Pony pre-launch allows players to attempt daily sign-in puzzles that will unlock Time-Limited Exhibition Passes. Completing all puzzles unlocks a limited edition pet costume based on the My Little Pony character Spike.
The full Heartopia x My Little Pony collaboration event officially launches on 14 February and runs until 15 March. Players will need to reawaken My Little Pony’s Tree of Harmony by participating in daily sensing at the tree, which will net them three of the six Elements of Harmony – Honesty, Generosity, Loyalty, Kindness, Laughter, and Magic. Using these Elements, players can water the Tree of Harmony, which will raise its Energy Progress Bar, and also yield additional rewards and resources.
Players that water and resonate with the tree will earn rewards such as Time-Limited Exhibition Passes, Moonlight Crystals, and Badge Pull Tokens that can be used to obtain special Pony Series badges. Players will receive ten Time-Limited Exhibition Passes whenever they complete one set of Pony Series badges; and collecting all three sets of Pony Series badges will award players with Town Collaboration Series badges.
Six non-replacement Gacha Pools, each corresponding to a member of My Little Pony’s Mane Six, will also be added to the game on 14 February. Each pool will contain five outfit pieces and one themed vehicle.
