‘Assassination Classroom the Movie’ Comes To Malaysia This April 9

Muse Asia has announced that Assassination Classroom the Movie: Everybody’s Time will open in Malaysia this April 9, roughly two weeks after its March 20 release date in Japan. The film marks the 10th anniversary of the Assassination Classroom series, consisting of storylines that were cut from the anime due to time constraints.

The film will be directed by Masaki Kitamura (After School Hanako-Kun, Gundam Evolve), based on a script from Assassination Classroom screenwriter Makoto Uezu, with character designs from Aya Higami. It will feature a new theme song, “Teacher”, performed by J-pop artist Sora Tomonari.

The Assassination Classroom series adapts a manga from author Yusei Matsui, which was serialised in Weekly Shonen Jump from 2012 to 2016. It was adapted into an anime series that ran from 2015 to 2016, and inspired an anime film in November 2016, as well as two live-action films that aired in March 2015 and March 2016.
