Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation is set to return for Season 3 this July 2026, adapting Volume 13 of the original light novel series. A new teaser image was released in conjunction with the announcement, featuring brand-new art of Eris.
The Season 3 release date announcement was also accompanied by the reveal of a new mobile game, Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Chronicle of Echoes, set to release later this year. While further details on the game are still being kept under wraps, fans are encouraged to follow the game’s socials for more details, and can even stand a chance to win official merchandise by doing so.
The Mushoku Tensei series is based on a series of light novels by author Rifujin na Magonote. It follows a 34-year-old unemployed man who lived as a shut-in, before dying and being reborn in a fantasy world. Now named Rudeus Greyrat, he sets out to live a better life, fueled by his previous memories and regrets.
The light novel series currently has 17 million copies in ciculation worldwide, and was adapted into an anime in March 2021. Following the success of its first season, the anime returned for a two-part second season that ran through 2023 and 2024.
