Maaya Sakamoto Releases Fate/Grand Order Track “Tokei” On Digital Platforms

Japanese singer Maaya Sakamoto recently released her newest digital single, “Tokei”, on December 28, now available on Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube Music, LINE MUSIC and more. The song has also been chosen as the theme song for the final chapter of the popular mobile RPG Fate/Grand Order.

“Tokei” is Sakamoto’s sixth song for Fate/Grand Order, following her previous releases “Shikisai”, “Gyakko”, “Kuuhaku”, “Yakudo” and “Dokuhaku”. Sakamoto composed and wrote the lyrics to “Tokei” herself, marking the epic conclusion of a series she has been a part of for ten years.

The theme song is an emotional track depicting “hope for the future”, setting it apart from the series’ previous theme songs. Ryo Eguchi, a member of the band la la larks,  also helped to arrange the song. Eguchi himself is no stranger to Sakamoto and Fate/Grand Order, having helped to arrange “Shikisai” and “Gyakko”.

Aside from being a singer, Maaya Sakamoto is also active as a voice actress, film actress, lyricist, and essayist. She released her 30th anniversary album, M30~Your Best~, on October 2025.
