Konosuba is officially returning for a Season 4! The news was announced during a special 10th anniversary livestream for the Konosuba series, which took place on YouTube on January 13. Other updates revealed during the livestream include in-person events, an audio drama and even a game currently in the works.
Based on a light novel series of the same name, Konosuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World! is a comedy series that follows Kazuma Sato, a game-loving shut-in who is reincarnated into a fantasy world, where he encounters chaotic adventures alongside his equally chaotic companions. No release date was confirmed for the upcoming Season 4, but fans can still look forward to some exciting updates.
Offline Events
This July 26, 2026, an event celebrating the anime’s 10th anniversary will be held at the Pacifico Yokohama National Convention Hall in Japan. Visitors can expect appearances from Konosuba voice actors Jun Fukushima, Sora Amamiya, Rie Takahashi, Ai Kayano, Machico, and more, with further details to be released in March.
Later in Autumn 2026, an official 10th anniversary exhibition is set to place at Akihabara’s Akiba Square, with more details to be revealed closer to the event date.
Audio Drama
Konosuba light novel author Natsume Akatsuki will pen a brand-new original audio drama, following a year in Kazuma and his companions’ lives, as they go through various adventures across spring, summer, autumn and winter. The audio drama will be posted on YouTube, starting with the winter episode, titled “White Snow Fairy Tale”.
Game
Akatsuki and light novel illustrator Kurone Mishima will also supervise a new game project based on the Konosuba series. Titled Konosuba: God’s Blessing on This Beloved City, the game is set to release on mobile and PC sometime this year, featuring an original storyline. More details will be released via the game’s official website.
