NetEase’s Marvel Rivals recently celebrated its first anniversary on November 27th, featuring a bunch of goodies for budding heroes from Legendary Skins to Units, and more for Rivals old and new to enjoy. The best part of this is that they are all free!
With that said, let’s get to breaking down what you need to do to obtain these goodies.
Invite Your Friends Event
This one was confusing when it first came out and is probably still confusing for some now, so I’ll start with this. This event requires you to invite friends in your friends list, or be invited by them to do some missions. The missions include the usual tasks like taking or dealing a certain amount of damage, or logging in during the event. Doing so earns you “Assemble Points”.
In order to invite your friends, simply type out their names in the search box which pops up in the event and click “send”. Make sure you type out their name exactly as it is or you’ll invite the wrong person. Alternatively, you can just share your invite code to your buddies.
Some things to bear in mind, when you invite someone they become part of your team and you become their captain. Until the invitee completes their missions under your team, they cannot accept another person’s invite, and once they accept someone’s invite, it will automatically decline all other invites.
Likewise, this applies to you too. You can only discharge yourself from a Captain’s team when you complete your missions. This also means that if you have a friend who doesn’t play much after being invited, they’ll take up a slot as you can only invite 5 at a time.
The Free 1500 Universal Units From Daily Log-Ins
This one is quite simple, just log-in everyday and claim your universal units. Each log-in will give you 200 Units except for the 7th log-in which rewards you 300 Units. Within the week, you can obtain an entire bundle from the store with minimal effort!
The Universal Units can also be used to top your existing Units to meet the purchase price of a costume set or bundle. But TAKE NOTE that the daily log-in Universal Units are limited and will last until 18th December, so make sure to spend them before they’re gone.
Jeff the Business Shark Legendary Skin
The new Legendary Jeff Skin is a free skin that is available through the Jeff’s Break Time Event. Unlike prior seasons which featured some really great skins, the event has you play more to earn EXP which will eventually earn you V-tokens to get the skin through the Event Vending Machine.
Eventually, you’ll have enough to unlock everything the Vending Machine would have to offer, if you play enough. The only thing affected by RNG is how soon you get the Legendary Skin.
Galacta’s Rivals Day 2025 Outfit
Another goodie in the Jeff’s Break Time Event is Galacta’s Rivals’ Day 2025 outfit. This changes Galacta’s appearance in the Battlepass tab. To change her appearance, simply click on “Nexus” in the top-right corner of Battlepass tab. Then, click on “Style” in the top-right and voila!
Premium Invisible Woman & Mr. Fantastic Skins
Rivals can also pay up 690 Lattices to upgrade to Premium, which unlocks the Invisible Woman and Mr. Fantastic skins as well.
