The holiday season just got a little sweeter. Astro is set to air “The Legend of Snow King”, a four-episode animated series based on Mixue’s iconic snowman mascot, starting this December 10, available via Astro AEC or via Astro’s streaming service Astro GO.
Astro’s official website describes the series as follows: “The Ice Cream Scepter has mysteriously gone missing! To save the Frozen Continent, Snow King chases the thief all the way to Hunter Valley, where he unexpectedly rescues Bunny Boss.”
Originally released in 2023, The Legend of Snow King attracted over 220 million views from Chinese audiences alone. Its massive success led to a 2024 sequel, “Snow King and the Sands of Mystery”, as well as dubs in English, French, Portuguese, and Swahili, though the Astro broadcast will only feature the original Chinese-language track.
