Macross Frontier Galaxy Live☆Final 2025 will receive a Blu-ray release on April 29, 2026. The Blu-ray commemorates the success of the two-day Macross Frontier live concert, which was held from July 26-27 at K Arena in Yokohama, and will feature a cover illustration from Macross Frontier character designer Risa Ebata.
The concert attracted over 38,000 people, making it one of the biggest live events in Macross’ history. Its upcoming Blu-ray release will include the encore segment of the concert that took place on Alto Saotome’s birthday, July 27, with the appearance of special guest Yoko Kanno. The main disc will also include commentary on the concert by May’n and Megumi Nakajima.
Limited and special editions will include a photobook of the concert and a special blu-ray disc featuring songs from the first day of the concert, making-of footage, and interviews. The special edition will also include a CD recording of the live concert, a set of two silver tape straps and two acrylic stands, all packaged in a deluxe “Yack Deculture” case.
