RIVRS, a leading game development and publishing studio pioneering user-generated content, announced the launch of its $1 million Creator Fund in conjunction with gamescom asia x Thailand Game Show 2025 last week.
Through the fund, RIVRS will invest in partnerships with studios and independent creators across the region, provide resources for UGC-driven projects through platforms such as Roblox, and acquire promising games to integrate into its global portfolio.
“Our mission at RIVRS has always been to empower creators and bring their ideas to life,” said Romain Hubert, CEO of RIVRS. “The $1 million Creator Fund allows us to deepen our engagement with Asian developers and studios, supporting ambitious projects that have the potential to reach players globally. This is about collaboration, growth, and creating opportunities for the next generation of game creators.”
Aurélien Palasse, RIVRS’ Managing Director for Asia, added: “Asia is home to some of the most vibrant and innovative gaming communities in the world. The Creator Fund is a tangible way for RIVRS to partner with creators, provide resources, and scale UGC experiences in a meaningful way. We look forward to helping talented developers realize their visions and bring fresh experiences to players everywhere.”
The fund will operate on a rolling basis, with applications open to professional developer studios, independent creators, and brands building original content. Selected projects will receive funding tied to milestones and strategic support from RIVRS’ experienced publishing and development teams.
