Malaysia is powering up for Gamescom Asia x Thailand Game Show 2025, happening this 17–19 October at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre in Bangkok. The Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) is set to spotlight six Malaysian indie studios in the B2C Entertainment Zone, giving local creators a stage to showcase their creations to the Southeast Asian gaming community.
Adding to the excitement, MDEC will also feature the IP360 Metaverse Platform, a digital platform co-developed with local creators Ammobox Studios. The platform aims to highlight Malaysia’s cultural heritage and creative IPs like Ejen Ali and Didi & Friends, featuring a virtual theme park and digital museum, offering fun, interactive experiences that blend culture, creativity, and cutting-edge tech.
This showcase also builds on the momentum of Level Up KL 2025, happening from 6–8 October in Kuala Lumpur. Visitors to Gamescom Asia x Thailand Game Show will be among the first to experience the next wave of Malaysian indie games, happening just a month ahead of the highly anticipated Level Up KL 2025 and its prestigious SEA Game Awards.
Interested visitors can visit the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation at Booth C06 in the Gamescom Asia x Thailand Game Show 2025 B2C Entertainment Zone. For more information, visit https://mdec.my/.
