Gameplay Features
- Simple button controls: Familiar actions can be comfortably activated with a single button press, maintaining the usual thrills Monster Hunter provides, while still delivering a unique feel.
- Your trusted allies: The game’s characters, also known as “Adventurers,” come from all over the world, and possess a variety of experiences and skills. These skills can be utilised to bring various benefits and effects to your hunts.
- New buddies: In this game, each Adventurer will be accompanied by a buddy. The familiar Palico from the mainline series will be joined by two new Outlanders-excusive buddies, Rutaco and Trillan. Each buddy has their own unique personality, appearance and skills, and can be trained to become even more reliable.
- Crafting: The game’s setting, Aesoland, is divided into several areas based on terrain and weather. By exploring each area using crafting, not only can you experience the field from different perspectives, but also discover special items and important clues.
- Radiant Species: Aesoland is home to the “Radiant Species,” monsters whose appearance and abilities have been altered by the Outlanders-exclusive mineral Radiantite. Radiant Species will become violent during hunts, possessing increased aggression and attacking abilities.
