Magic: The Gathering’s Secret Lair will collaborate with PlayStation for their next Superdrop collection, launching on October 27. The collaboration will include seven different Secret Lair drops, featuring characters from PlayStation blockbusters The Last of Us, God of War, Horizon Forbidden West, Uncharted, and Ghost of Tsushima.
Wizards of The Coast reportedly worked closely with Naughty Dog, Santa Monica Studio, Guerrilla, and Sucker Punch Productions to transform each game into playable cards with unique mechanics. Fans at MagicCon Atlanta got their first look at the upcoming collection this past weekend, with more cards yet to be revealed.
Secret Lair x The Last of Us Part I
The Last of Us Part I drop will feature Joel and Ellie, along with three other unreleased cards. True to the original game, Joel and Ellie can be played individually, or work together as an intimidating pair.
Secret Lair x The Last of Us Part II
Continuing from The Last of Us Part I, the Part II cards will feature Abby and an older Ellie, as well as three unreleased cards. Abby’s card brings valuable resources at a price, while Ellie’s quest for vengeance leaves destruction in its wake.
Secret Lair x God of War: Greek
Kratos from the original God of War trilogy has been transformed into a card that fittingly deals plenty of damage. The God of War: Greek drop will also come with four more unreleased cards.
Secret Lair x God of War: Norse
Continuing from the previous pack, the God of War: Norse drop will feature an older Kratos and his son Atreus, along with two more unreleased cards.
Secret Lair x Uncharted
Uncharted’s Nathan Drake swings into the collection alongside four unreleased cards, along with the ability to score some treasure for your deck.
Secret Lair x Horizon: Into the Forbidden West
The Secret Lair x Horizon: Into the Forbidden West drop will feature Aloy and four unreleased cards, with Aloy being able to connect with artifact creatures.
Secret Lair x Ghost of Tsushima
Last but certainly not least, the final drop will feature Jin Sakai from Ghost of Tsushima, as well as four other unreleased cards.
The Magic: The Gathering Secret Lair x PlayStation Superdrop will be released this October 27, via the Magic: The Gathering Secret Lair website. Each Secret Lair drop is available in foil and non-foil versions.
