After releasing Hades II in early access on May 2024, the highly anticipated action-roguelite is finally launching in version 1.0 on September 25, 2025. The news dropped during yesterday’s Nintendo Direct, together with a brand-new launch trailer:
Players who already own Hades II in Early Access on Steam or the Epic Games Store will unlock version 1.0 as a free automatic update, while new players will be able to purchase the game digitally at the current price before the version 1.0 launch. The game is also available for pre-order at the same price on Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch.
Besides the additions coming in Version 1.0, Hades II will offer cross-saves between Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 versions, and the Steam and the Epic Games Store versions. Players who purchase the Nintendo Switch version will be able to download a free upgrade to the Nintendo Switch 2 version if they have both consoles.
