In a surprising and thrilling move for fans of both franchises, the mobile shooter-RPG Goddess of Victory: Nikke has officially launched a collaboration with Capcom’s legendary survival-horror series, Resident Evil.
Titled “Reborn Evil,” this limited-time event introduces iconic Resident Evil heroines Jill Valentine, Ada Wong, and Claire Redfield into the post-apocalyptic world of Nikke, bringing a new wave of horror-themed action and a unique storyline. The exciting crossover goes live on September 24, 2025.
New Characters and Event Details
The “Reborn Evil” patch adds three new playable Nikkes to the roster:
- Jill Valentine (SSR): A familiar face from the Resident Evil franchise, Jill Valentine joins the fight as an SSR unit. Her design is inspired by her appearance in the Resident Evil 3 remake, complete with her iconic blue tank top. As a seasoned S.T.A.R.S. operative, Jill is expected to be a formidable force on the battlefield, potentially wielding dual pistols as an SMG character.
- Ada Wong (SSR): Known for her cunning and morally ambiguous nature, Ada Wong fits seamlessly into the Nikke universe. She appears in her trademark red dress and is seen holding a crossbow in her official artwork, suggesting she will be a Sniper Nikke.
- Claire Redfield (SR): The compassionate and resourceful Claire Redfield also makes her Nikke debut. In a surprising turn, she is introduced as a free SR character, obtainable through a 14-day login event. While not a member of a military unit like the others, her shotgun-wielding design from the Classified: Track the NEO-Virus web event points to her being a reliable Support character.
New Story
The “Reborn Evil” event will also introduce a new in-game story, titled “Salvation Through The Crimson Flame”. It sees the Ark’s A.C.P.U. Squad, including D and the Commander, investigating a mysterious NEO-Virus infection. Their investigation leads them to a mansion where they encounter Jill Valentine, Ada Wong, and Claire Redfield, setting the stage for a chilling crossover adventure.
The story is expected to intertwine the two franchises’ lore, with appearances from existing Nikkes like Poli, D.Wife, Quiry, and Miranda.
Web Event
Leading up to the main event, Nikke has launched a pre-release web event called “Classified: Track the NEO-Virus.” This interactive experience has players investigating a virus outbreak in a mysterious mansion, setting the tone for the in-game story and allowing players to earn rewards before the patch even drops.
