Last year’s Sonic the Hedgehog x Reebok sneakers were a runaway success, selling out almost instantly and leaving many fans and collectors scrambling. This year, PUMA is teaming up with Sega’s iconic speedster for an all-new drop — and this time, Sonic’s friends are along for the ride.
Launching October 30, the Sonic the Hedgehog x PUMA collection brings three distinct designs inspired by Sonic, Tails, and Shadow the Hedgehog, blending nostalgic character details with modern sneaker aesthetics.
The Lineup

PUMA Inhale “Sonic”
At the heart of the drop is the PUMA Inhale “Sonic” — a modern twist on the early 2000s silhouette, pulsing with Sonic’s signature electric blue mesh. Accents of red and silver complement the design, while pops of yellow add a flash of flair. The insole features a subtle graphic of Sonic himself, making this pair a true homage to the Blue Hedgehog.

PUMA Inverse Chrome “Tails”
The Tails edition dazzles in a shimmering gold palette with orange and white paneling, perfectly channeling the fox’s youthful, nerd-chic vibe. A bespoke fox tail logo on the shoe adds a playful, unmistakable touch that fans will instantly recognize.

PUMA Inverse Chrome “Shadow”
Shadow’s design takes a darker, bolder approach. A sleek black upper is slashed with red chrome detailing, inspired by the character’s hover shoes and piercing red eyes. It’s an intense look for fans who prefer a more rebellious edge.
Special Details
All three sneakers feature a Gold Ring lace detail and a character silhouette on the tongue, and each comes packaged in a limited-edition collector’s box worthy of display.

The Sonic pair is confirmed for adult sizing, while sizing for Tails and Shadow is yet to be announced, but hopefully so too as I personally am looking forward to the Shadow Edition!
