DTE Gaming has emerged as the national champion of the Dew Challenge 2025, one of Malaysia’s largest community-focused mobile esports tournaments. The team secured a decisive 3–0 victory over Johor-based Team Pirate King in the Grand Finals, held at Sunway Pyramid’s Blue Atrium over the weekend.
The Dew Challenge 2025 concluded a six-month campaign involving regional qualifiers in Penang, Johor Bahru, and Kuala Lumpur. More than 18,000 players registered for the nationwide competition, which featured a prize pool worth RM750,000.
As champions, DTE Gaming took home RM50,000 in cash, 25,000 in-game tokens, and the official Dew Challenge 2025 title. The Finals Most Valuable Player (FMVP) award was presented to DTE.Cece, who received a Republic Of Gamers (ROG) Phone 9 Pro for his performance. Team Pirate King, the runners-up, earned RM25,000 and 15,000 in-game tokens, while Team Todak, finishing third, received RM10,000 and 5,000 tokens.

The Grand Finals weekend attracted thousands of attendees and online viewers. Fans participated in interactive on-ground activities, lucky draws, and community challenges. The event also featured cosplay appearances by COS-MIC Stars, merchandise giveaways, and branded engagements by campaign partners.
Amy Gan, Vice President of Marketing at Etika Sdn Bhd, said the Dew Challenge was about more than just competition: “It’s about bringing people together — players, fans, families — and creating something they can be part of. What began as a tournament became a community. That’s what Mountain Dew stands for. We support boldness, but we also show up for the people who make it meaningful. Whether you came to compete or just to cheer, this campaign was a space to belong.”
The Dew Challenge 2025 was supported by partners including Honor of Kings, ASUS ROG, SEAGM, Jollibee, 4Fingers, and The Chicken Rice Shop. Organised by Etika Sdn Bhd, the campaign aimed to strengthen the local grassroots esports scene through competitive play and brand engagement.
