Too Kyo Games’ ‘The Hundred Line -Last Defense Academy’ Is Out Now On Steam

The Hundred Line -Last Defense Academy-, the first original IP from Too Kyo Games, releases today for Windows PC via Steam. The game promises a chilling, tense storyline that will lead players to 100 despair-filled endings, helmed by legendary developers Kazutaka Kodaka (Danganronpa) and Kotaro Uchikoshi (Zero Escape series)

You play as Takumi, a student in the Last Defense Academy, a colossal school in the middle of nowhere surrounded by a wall of otherworldly flames. He and 14 other students have been drafted into the Special Defense Unit, a team tasked with keeping the school safe for the next 100 days. Initiated students transform their blood into the mysterious Hemoanima, a unique type of mutated blood which provides supernatural abilities.

As Takumi, players will spend their days at Last Defense Academy getting to know his classmates and exploring the school grounds during the narrative visual-novel portion of the game, whilst defending the school from attacking monsters in grid-based tactical-RPG battles alongside his classmates.

Also, did we mention that this game has 100 endings? Indeed, players will be able to experience a diverse, branching narrative, where their decisions can drastically alter Takumi’s story and outcomes during his time at the school. The game offers 100 possible routes for fans to discover, some of which even transform the game into completely different genres.

The Hundred Line -Last Defense Academy- is published globally by Aniplex Inc. on Windows PC via Steam. It is currently available in a standard edition for $59.99, and a Digital Deluxe edition including a copy of the game, digital art book, and digital soundtrack for $69.99.
