Local cinema chain TGV Cinemas will be screening Oshi no Ko: The Final Act, the thrilling finale to the Oshi no Ko live-action drama series, starting this April 10. The Malaysian screening from TGV will come with the original Japanese audio and Bahasa Malaysia subtitles.
The Final Act serves as a sequel and finale to the eight-episode live-action Oshi no Ko drama series, currently airing on Amazon Prime. It adapts the manga of the same name by Aka Akasaka, telling the story of Goro, a gynecologist and idol fan who is shocked when his favourite idol, Ai, announces her sudden hiatus. Little does he know that their paths are about to cross in the most unexpected way imaginable.
The film stars Kaito Sakurai as Aqua, Nagisa Saito as Ruby, Asuka Saito as Ai, and Nanoka Hara as Kana, among many others. More information, including ticketing details, will be made available on TGV Cinemas’ official website.
If you can’t get enough of Aka Akasaka’s work, you’ll be happy to hear that the mangaka has started another series following the success of Oshi no Ko, this time a fantasy title named Marchen Clown.
