Riot Games has released a new announcement video, sharing more details on its upcoming TCG. Previously known under the codename “Project K”, the game is now officially known as Riftbound: The League of Legends Trading Card Game.
Check out the announcement here, or keep reading for a quick recap:
Riftbound will be playable in 1v1, 2v2 and free-for-all multiplayer formats, and will make its debut with its first set, “Origins”, featuring 300 different cards. This includes pre-constructed decks featuring iconic champions such as Viktor, Jinx, and Lee Sin. For the collectors out there, each deck will also come with a Legend card, some of which will be available in Secret Rare versions illustrated by Riot’s inhouse artists.

New TCG players or casual players looking to get into the game can start with Proving Grounds, a box set designed for two to four players that comes with starter decks for Lux, Annie, Master Yi, and Garen.
The game will be distributed worldwide by UVS, a TCG publishing company known for designing and publishing the crossover card game UniVersus. It is set to debut in China this summer, followed by English-speaking countries in 2025, and additional regions in 2026.
