Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. has launched Season 8 of its asymmetrical multiplayer game, Dragon Ball: The Breakers. The new free update introduces Golden Frieza as a new playable form for Raiders and the powerful “Ultra Instinct” Transphere for Survivors.
Golden Frieza is a new unlockable form for Raiders. In this powerful new form, Frieza gains increased movement speed,enhancing their hunting and destroying prowess. Existing active techniques such as active skills and Ki Blasts will also be modified while playing as Golden Frieza, allowing new combat possibilities during battle.
Meanwhile, Survivors can use the “Ultra Instinct” Transphere, which enables players to unleash a powerful attack on a locked-on target or charge forward in the camera’s direction if no enemies are nearby. Additionally, Survivors can activate Dragon Change briefly, allowing them to perform special attacks.
Dragon Ball: The Breakers is an asymmetrical multiplayer game where seven Survivors, ordinary civilians trapped in a “Temporal Seam,” must escape the clutches of a Raider—one of the iconic characters from the Dragon Ball universe. Players must work together to evade the Raider and return to their own timeline. The game is available on Playstation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
