Tekken 8 introduces its first ever crossover character, Clive Rosfield from Square Enix’s Final Fantasy 16. Players who purchased the Character Year 1 Pass will get to enjoy early access starting December 16th, with general release on December 19th, 2024.
The news was announced during The Game Awards 2024 earlier this week, including the reveal of a gameplay trailer. The trailer previews Clive’s abilities and a brand new stage called Phoenix Gate inspired by Final Fantasy 16.
Clive’s introduction into the Tekken 8 roster concludes the game’s first season of DLC content. Other Season 1 DLC characters include Eddy Gordo who was added on April 4th, Lidia Sobieska on July 22nd, and Heihachi Mishima on September 30th. The Season 2 DLC is expected to arrive in Spring 2025.
