The highly popular anime spin-off of Cyberpunk 2077 is getting its own manga. Cyberpunk: Edgerunners MADNESS is a prequel series focusing on the popular sibling duo Pilar and Rebecca as its protagonists.
The comic will portray the comical and energetic actions of the siblings, but also the compelling and finely woven story that sheds light on the sibling’s dreams and upbringing, which were not explored in the anime series. Furthermore, a mysterious man known as Safran makes an appearance, driving the story into the realm of MADNESS.
Kadokawa launched the first chapter of the manga last Friday on the Comic Alive+ website in six languages so far with French, Chinese, and English languages coming soon. Dark Horse will be releasing the English version in paperback format. The full volume will be out in 2025.
Cyberpunk: Edgerunners is an anime series by Studio Trigger, based on CD PROJEKT RED’s Cyberpunk 2077 video game. The manga series will be written by Bartosz Sztybor, who also wrote and produced Cyberpunk: Edgerunners and The Witcher comics for Dark Horse, featuring art by asano4124.
