Code Geass Franchise Confirms New Projects in Production

New developments in the Code Geass franchise were revealed at the annual screening held in honour of Lelouch’s birthday. The news was shared by original creator and producer Goro Taniguchi and voice actors Jun Fukuyama and Kohei Amasaki, who gathered to discuss the Code Geass: Rozé of the Recapture tetralogy.

It was revealed that “multiple new works” for the long-running franchise are currently in production, although no further details were disclosed. The series celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2026, so more news is expected at a later date.

In the meantime, fans can look forward to continuous screenings of all 13 films including the Code Geass: Lelouch of the Re;surrection sequel, the Akito the Exiled spin-offs, the three compilation films and the recent four-parter. The Code Geass: Lost Stories mobile game will also add a Rozé of the Recapture-themed story.
