Southeast Asia Games Onward also known as SEA GO, a celebration of the gaming industry’s growth in Southeast Asia, returns for its second year in a row this December 2024. Hosted annually by SEAGamethetic, the online game exhibition provides a platform for game developers from Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, Singapore, even Vietnam to be highlighted through YouTube, X/Twitter, and Instagram.
“Southeast Asia Games Onward has the potential for game developers to showcase their
best works on digital platforms. This effort can attract fans, players, and even publishers that
are interested in making decisions to collaborate with game developers,” shared Zahid Riefqi, a content creator from Southeast Asia Game Aesthetic.
Last year, the online game exhibition was accompanied by a Steam event featuring discounts and demos for over 130+ Southeast Asian games. The event’s highlight was a video event on the SEAGamethetic YouTube channel which showcased upcoming and newly released titles from across the region, presented by content creators from the featured countries.
