Indonesian Studio Pendopo Creations Launches Limited-Time Demo For ‘The Fractured Shimmer’

Award-winning Indonesian studio Pendopo Creations and Singapore-based publisher Soft Source have announced a limited-time demo for their upcoming title, The Fractured Shimmer. The demo will be available on PC via Steam from now until 5th November 2024 in conjunction with Steam Scream Fest.

The 2.5D survival horror narrative adventure follows a string of unsettling, cryptic murders which lead Eddy, a broke journalist, to a seemingly remote mansion.Unravel the mysteries behind the killings and the mansion, while Eddy confronts dark secrets from his own fractured past.

In the game, bring Eddy closer to uncovering the truth by exploring your surroundings, collecting clues, and solving puzzles. Practice caution when exploring your surroundings, you have a feeling you’re not alone. Take advantage of the limited resources of your surroundings to aid you in survival while traversing the mansion.

The Fractured Shimmer is the second title from Pendopo Creations. Their debut title Rendezvous is a 2.5D cyber-noir pixel art action-puzzle adventure game of family, betrayal, and dangerous secrets set against the backdrop of Bay City and Neo-Surabaya. The game previously won Best Visual Arts and the Grand Jury Award at Level Up KL’s SEA Game Awards in 2023.
