From September 26th to October 31st, Yamaha Music Malaysia is partnering with Bocchi The Rock for a musical collaboration! Visit participating outlets to snag exclusive merchandise like guitar picks and custom-designed clear file folders, and check out life-sized standees and other products from the anime.
The participating outlets are the Yamaha retail stores in Kelana Jaya, and Yamaha Music schools Cornerstone Music at Atria Shopping Gallery and Minuet Music at Pavilion Bukit Jalil.
The collaboration is happening in conjunction with the premiere of the Bocchi The Rock Recap Part 2 movie, which is currently screening at GSC. This is the second part of the Bocchi The Rock movie project, which serves to recap the first season of the anime as a build-up to the franchise’s second season. The first recap movie premiered in GSC earlier this August.
The movie follows Hitori “Bocchi” Gotoh, an introverted girl who started playing the guitar in middle school with the goal of joining a band. But because she had no friends, she ended up practicing guitar for six hours every day all by herself. One day, Nijika Ijichi, the drummer in Kessoku Band, reached out to her. And because of that, her everyday life started to change little by little.
