Kenta Shinohara’s Magical Comedy ‘Witch Watch’ Gets Anime Adaptation

Magical comedy series ‘Witch Watch’ is getting an anime adaptation in April 2025. The anime will be produced by Bibury Animation Studios, known for their work on Kin-iro Mosaic, the Grisaia series, and Rewrite.

Written and illustrated by Kenta Shinohara, Witch Watch focuses on Nico Wakatsuki, a teenage witch who, after completing her magical training, moves into a house with her childhood friend Morihito Otogi, a human-looking ogre.

Get ready for fantastical antics, as two teens live under one roof and unpredictable magic is added to the mix!

The manga has been serialised in Weekly Shonen Jump since February 2021, with a total of 17 volumes published as of July 2024. The manga had over 1.1 million copies in circulation as of November 2022.
