‘Capcom Fighting Collection 2’ Revives Eight Fighting Game Classics In 2025

Capcom Fighting Collection 2, featuring a selection of eight standout titles including crossover works with SNK, is set for release in 2025! The news was revealed during last night’s Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase.

The collection includes a diverse lineup of eight titles, featuring iconic characters from SNK and CAPCOM, such as Capcom vs. SNK: Millennium Fight 2000 Pro and Capcom vs. SNK 2: Mark of the Millennium 2001, along with Project Justice and the competitive action game Power Stone!

All titles in the collection offer online battles and training modes. Additionally, the collection introduces new features not available at launch, including lobby and spectator modes for online events and tournaments, a gallery mode showcasing rare concept art and in-game BGM for each title, and more.

Here’s a complete list of the titles coming to the Capcom Fighting Collection 2:

  • Capcom vs. SNK: Millennium Fight 2000 Pro (2001)
  • Capcom vs. SNK 2: Mark of the Millennium 2001 (2001)
  • Capcom Fighting Evolution (2004)
  • Street Fighter Alpha 3 UPPER (2001)
  • Project Justice (2000)
  • Power Stone (1999)
  • Power Stone 2 (2000)
  • Plasma Sword: Nightmare of Bilstein (1998)

In the same announcement, CAPCOM also revealed the release of MARVEL vs. CAPCOM Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics, a collection of seven epic titles where Marvel characters storm into CAPCOM’s fighting games.

The digital version of this collection releases on 12th September 2024, followed by a physical release on 22nd November 2024. Pre-orders for Nintendo Switch and Steam digital versions will begin on 28th August 2024.
