Get ready to groove to the beat at Rhythmeet 2024, set to light up Asia Pacific University this 27-28 July! The event is organized by Rhythmeet Hub, a non-profit rhythm game community from the Comic Fiesta Community Discord, in partnership with osu! Malaysia and Asia Pacific University’s M.A.G Club.
Rhythmeet 2024 is set to be a celebration of all things rhythm games, offering both new and seasoned players alike a chance to show off their skills, make new friends, and connect with fellow rhythm game fans. Here’s a taste of what they’ll have in store:
Rhythm Game Tournaments
Catch some incredible displays of skill as you cheer on players going head-to-head in thrilling rhythm game tournaments, featuring titles such as maimai, Chunithm, osu, Arcaea and Phigros.
Play Games On-Site!
Try your hand at a wide selection of rhythm games, set to be made available for tryout on-site! Fans can especially look forward to maimai Finale cabinets at the event, serving as a blast to the past for players who appreciate the legacy version of the game.
Live Music Performances
Enjoy live performances from a star-studded lineup of guests, including DJ showcases from takehirotei, Kaycee, Altermis, yukitenryuu, Taka Kazuki, and cofico espressound, as well as an exciting opening performance featuring the Selangor & KL Orchestra & Choir.
Creative Alley
Treat yourself to a wide variety of fan-made creations inspired by various games, anime and manga titles, including some of your favourite rhythm games! You’ll also have a chance to learn more about other niche communities in the ACG community through some of Rhythmeet 2024’s exhibition partners, such as the Malaysian Touhou Brigade and MYvocal.
