Calling all Boys Love fans — there’s a BL convention happening in the Philippines this year! The Yaoi Expo Facebook page teased the return of the event which will be happening on September 21st at Bayanihan Center, Pioneer St, Pasig, Metro Manila.
For the uninitiated, Boys Love also known as Yaoi is an umbrella term for Japanese-influenced media with male-male relationships. This spans a wide range of media, including manga, anime, drama CDs, novels, video games, television series, films, and fan works.
Yaoi Expo is a non-profit organisation that celebrates the aesthetics of Boys Love with various conventions and large-scale events. For the event happening on September, more details about artist sign-ups and ticketing will be released soon.
