The Jujutsu Kaisen Experience Is Now Open At Pavilion Bukit Jalil

Can’t wait for the Jujutsu Kaisen memorial to open in Kuantan? Good news – you can explore the world of Curses right now at the Jujutsu Kaisen Experience! The exhibition officially opened its doors last weekend at Pavilion Bukit Jalil, kicking off a celebration that’s set to run from now until 27 July.

Based on the manga by Gege Akutami, Jujutsu Kaisen tells the story of high school student Yuji Itadori, who becomes caught up in a battle between humanity and demons known as Curses. Since its debut, the series has become one of the biggest anime titles in the world, with the show even being crowned as Guinness World Records’ “Most Popular Anime of 2023”.

With that in mind, organisers ACO Lab and ACO Media set out to create an immersive exhibition designed to transport fans into the Jujutsu Kaisen universe. The event’s official launch was graced by Deputy Minister of Communications Y.B. Teo Nie Ching, who was present for a special opening ceremony that featured a ribbon inspired by the  anime’s iconic sealing talismans.

The exhibition itself is divided into three different zones: a photo zone, a themed restaurant, and a merchandise store.  The photo zone features five scenes recreating different moments from the anime, which are perfect for fans looking to get a unique photo opportunity. Each scene is complete with life-size cardboard standees of the heroes, villains, and supporting characters.

Meanwhile, the themed restaurant features a specially curated menu inspired by the main characters of Jujutsu Kaisen, with a variety of Japanese dishes, desserts and beverages for fans to enjoy. The restaurant’s design incorporates various elements from the anime series, with character patterns adorning the meal boxes and cup holders, and large-scale models of Gojo and Itadori serving as a photo backdrop.

Last but certainly not least, the event also features Malaysia’s largest Jujutsu Kaisen merchandise store, with over 120 limited-edition pieces of officially licensed Jujutsu Kaisen memorabilia on sale. These include T-shirts, collectible cards, acrylic standees, desk mats, and many more. The store also features a photo booth where visitors can take photos decorated with their favourite character templates.

The Jujutsu Kaisen Experience is open from now until 27 July 2024 at Pavilion Bukit Jalil, Level 3, Lot 102/103/58. Tickets can be purchased via Ticket2U, with three different packages available:
