The 27th Annual DICE Awards happened earlier today, celebrating the best video games released in 2023. As the video game industry’s premier peer-juried awards show, its nominees were decided by accomplished industry experts from all facets of game craft: art, design, engineering, animation, performance, and production.
A total of 56 games released in 2023 were nominated, with Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 taking the lead at an impressive 9 nominations; closely followed by Alan Wake 2 with 8 nominations, Baldur’s Gate 3 with 7 nominations, and COCOON with 6 nominations.
