Gotta eat ’em all! OREO is teaming up with The Pokémon Company to launch a special edition cookie collection and merchandise based on the iconic franchise. The collection is available in Malaysia right now, and will also be launching in Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, Singapore, Vietnam, and Taiwan.
There are 16 different Pokémon designs available in vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, and chocolate banana flavours. The list of Pokémon include: Pikachu, Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Sandshrew, Jigglypuff, Lapras, Dratini, Cyndaquil, Sableye, Piplup, Snivy, Pancham, Rowlet, Grookey, and Mew.
Just like in the Pokémon world, some designs will be harder to find than others. In fact, each pack is randomly filled with different cookies, so not every pack is guaranteed to contain all 16 Pokémon. Out of the 16 designs, of course the Mew cookie is the hardest one to find!
If you manage to find a Mew cookie, submit a picture on the OREO Pokémon Microsite and stand a chance to win prizes such as the OREO Pokémon two-dimensional lamp, and OREO Pokémon metal coin set. Contest submissions are open from 1st March to 31st May 2024.
Not only that, each OREO Pokémon multipack contains a square photocard. There are 16 different Pokémon photocards to collect based on the cookie designs. With every purchase of RM15 worth of any OREO Pokémon products, you also stand a chance to collect an OREO Pokémon plate, glass, or glass with cookie holder.
OREO Malaysia has also launched a special edition Pikachu-inspired flavour for the very first time. Featuring a Pikachu design on the cookie and a chocolate banana flavour, make sure to try out this electrifying treat.
