Minami Lane Is A Wholesome Street Management Game (With Tanukis!)

After debuting the demo during Steam Next Fest earlier this month, Minami Lane gathered over 30K wishlists and was featured by countless cozy and wholesome content creators. And now, the game is finally launching on Steam this February 28th!

Minami Lane is a small, wholesome management game set on a Japanese-inspired street. Create and manage your own street, make sure everyone is happy, and watch the villagers live their lives at the start of each day.

Besides building homes to attract villagers to your street, you can also beautify every inch with a variety of shops and attractions. These include ramen shops, boba cafes, bookstores, florists, and even karaoke — each with unique inventories and effects.

Not only that, shops you create will need your careful guidance to offer the right products at the right times. Watch your villagers react to your street and offer helpful feedback on how to improve, and refine your street to make your neighbourhood thrive.

Minami Lane was created by former Ubisoft developers Dorian and Doriane, also known as Doot and Blibloop online (how cute!). The duo previously collaborated on game jam projects including Poda Wants A Statue, which helped define the isometric art style and light management mechanics that were repurposed for Minami Lane.

According to developer Doriane, “We got amazing feedback and wanted to make a bigger game. I kept telling Dorian that if we can have these results in 3 days, imagine what we could do in 3 months!”

Buy or wishlist Minami Lane on Steam and top-up your Steam Wallet on Codashop.
