To celebrate the highly anticipated release of FINAL FANTASY XVI on PlayStation®5, Sony Interactive Entertainment Singapore (SIES) hosted a midnight launch event that also served as the reveal of the FINAL FANTASY XVI Launch Exhibition in Sunway Pyramid Shopping Mall, happening from now until 2nd July 2023.
Early morning on 22nd June 2023, fans flocked to the LG2 Orange Concourse to be the first people in Malaysia to get their hands on the highly anticipated title, with the first person in line being our very own founder of THE MAGIC RAIN!
The pop-up also showcased an extensive collection of FINAL FANTASY XVI art pieces and exhibits, game trial zones for fans to immerse themselves in the PS5 game demo, as well as activities where fans could stand a chance to win prizes such as the FINAL FANTASY XVI PS5 Bundle, FINAL FANTASY XVI Collector’s Edition and various game merchandise. However, the biggest highlight was the reveal of the large-scale art installation of Ifrit from the game.
The finale of this Launch Exhibition will be the Meet and Greet event with FINAL FANTASY XVI producer, Yoshida Naoki on Saturday, 1st July, 3PM onward. Fans can also visit the pop-up from now until 2nd July 2023 to earn various exclusive merchandise by completing themed challenges.
