Cardfight!! Vanguard Bahasa Nasional 2022 is around the corner, held in KLCC Exhibition Hall 6B alongside WGP 2022 on the 17th December 2022! With the release of Starter Deck 06 Mirei Minae and Booster 02 Mengejar Bintang, there are a lot of deck choices available for every Nation. If you’re unsure of what to play — don’t worry, we’ve got you covered!
We managed to get Anson Low to help newer and older players have a head start by preparing some decks for you guys to try out and modify them to your liking. For those new to Anson Low, he is a Malaysian player with outstanding performance in the year 2022, including:

Chakrabarthi Divine Dragon, Nirvana
A Dragon Empire deck with the speciality to fight using the [overDress] ability, Nirvana possesses the ability to call “Trickstar” from Drop Zone to make it easier to [overDress] to a more powerful unit. “Trickstar” can [overDress] to a variety of different units to gain a better tempo based on the situation. Let’s fight alongside Nirvana and oppress your opponent with their mighty power!
Dragonic Overlord
A Dragon Empire deck that focuses on the ability to restand your Vanguard with Overlord’s ability after the attack hits to launch another attack. Additionally, the opponent cannot guard their rear-guards with their hand when Overlord attacks! Finish the battle swiftly with two powerful attacks from your Dragonic Overlord!
Sealed Blaze Maiden, Bavsargra
A Dragon Empire deck that focuses around Bavsargra and the new Arms cards. Bavsargra’s amazing ability enables once you have both Arms equipped, allowing you to retire your opponent’s rear-guard while being in control of the battlefield. Not to mention, each Arm either provides a defensive power boost or is able to deal 1 direct damage to your opponent if their damage zone has 4 or less cards!
Dark States
Diabolos, “Violence” Bruce
A Dark States deck that gains ability power by collecting and utilizing souls. With the ability “Final Rush”, Bruce and his friends can activate their own unique abilities, and Bruce can Stand 2 rear-guard when attacking! Let’s build your souls with Bruce and perform a team strike!
Master of Gravity, Baromagnes
A Dark States deck that focuses on the number of cards in your soul! Baromagnes can activate his ability according to the number of cards in your soul. When you have 15 or more cards in your soul, Baromagnes can activate a powerful ability that puts all your opponent’s and your rear-guards into their soul as well as allowing you to call 2 more rear-guards for more attacks!
Avaricious Demonic Dragon, Greedon
A Dark States deck that uses the Vanguard to keep attacking by absorbing his friends into the soul to restand. If there is a card with the name Greedon in your soul, you only lose the game when you take 7 damage and not 6! If your soul has 10 or more cards, Greedon will gain additional power that will oppress your opponent!
Keter Sanctuary
Apex Ruler, Bastion
A Keter Sanctuary deck that mostly uses Grade 3 units. Bastion can restand 1 rear-guard when you Drive Check a Grade 3, and the rear-guard will get an additional power! With your Grade 3 units and Bastion, hunt your opponent with an almighty power!
Hexaorb Sorceress
A Keter Sanctuary deck that fights by manipulating the order of the cards on the top of your deck. Hexaorb and her friends allow you to arrange your trigger card on top of your deck to assure a trigger during Drive Check. Hexaorb also provides additional power when your Drive Check reveals a trigger card! Come and grab your future victory with Hexaorb!
Phantom Blaster Dragon
A Keter Sanctuary deck that is based on Shadow Paladin, this deck retires your own units to gain power while retiring the opponent’s rear-guard! By retiring 3 of your own rear-guard units, Phantom Blaster Dragon can retire 2 of the opponent’s rear-guard, and will obtain additional power and critical where your Vanguard can exert pressure on your opponent.
Brandt Gate
Aurora Battle Princess, Seraph Snow
A Brandt Gate deck that fights by imprisoning your opponent’s rear-guard in your Set Order Prison. Seraph gains its power by the number of units in your Prison. Even if your opponent releases their rear-guard from your Prison by paying the cost of Counter Blast 1 or Soul Blast 1, the cost that they pay will deplete their resources. Let’s help Seraph put the evil do-ers into prison!
Gravidia Nordlinger
Brandt Gate deck that gets to retire the opponent’s rear-guard with the Set Order card Meteorite! Let’s gather a large number of Meteorites in your Order Zone with Gravidia skill! If you put 3 or more Meteorite cards into your drop for this cost. Gravidia gets additional Critical+1, and if you put 5 or more your trigger effects from Drive Check triggers twice!
Cardinal Deus, Orfist
A Brandt Gate deck that focuses on using Shadow Token to fight! Orphist uses Set Order card to change its world into Dark Night or Abyssal Dark Night to call Shadow Token and gain additional power!
Stoichea
Sylvan Horned Beast King, Magnolia
A Stoichea deck which specializes in empowering the rear-guard to perform multiple attacks. Magnolia’s ability enables the rear-guard to attack from your back row! Face your opponents with relentless attacks together with your energetic friends!
Mysterious Rain Spiritualist, Zorga
A Stoichea deck that fights using various Order cards. Zorga uses the [Alchemagic] ability to combine another Order card’s ability into the Order card being played. You can combine various Order cards ability for different situations, and fight with more flexibility! Join Zorga in the challenge to obtain your victory!
Flagship Dragon, Flagburg Dragon
A Stoichea deck that uses Vanguard to manifest a powerful skill depending on the number of attacks in 1 turn. If you perform 5 or more attacks in 1 turn, when Flagburg declares attack your opponent can only guard by calling 3 or more cards from their hand! Thin out your opponent’s hand slowly with your non-stop offense!
