The full song of SiM’s ‘The Rumbling’, the opening theme of TV anime ‘Attack on Titan’ The Final Season Part 2, has been released on February 7 (Mon).
“The Rumbling (TV Size)” has been streamed more than 10 million times in just one week since its release. The non-credit opening video of the anime has recorded an astonishing number of views immediately after its release on YouTube, surpassing 10 million views in 2.5 days.
The song also ranked in the music charts of various countries, reaching the top 10 in 28 countries on the iTunes Rock chart and the top 10 in 25 countries on the Apple Music Rock chart. On Spotify, it is #4 on the global viral chart, charting in 62 countries and in the top 10 in 51 countries. It also reached the top of the Billboard Hot Hard Rock Songs chart on January 29th. The full size release of the song, which has been making waves all over the world, has been eagerly awaited all over the world.
On February 7, the full story of the song was finally revealed and the teaser movie of the music video has been also released.
And it seems that they are collaborating with Attack on Titan for the music video as well. We can’t wait to see the music video.

SiM is a four piece reggae punk band from Shonan, Japan, who have achieved the ultimate contradiction of “diabolical roaring sound, difficult to understand and catchy”. The band’s sound is a free mix of hardcore punk, nu-metal, reggae, and ska ,which is on the opposite side of the spectrum each other, with a unique pop sense, and their lyrics are aggressive and full of rebelliousness while skillfully incorporating wordplay and quirky hook lines.
