Square Enix recently announced that their mobile version of Final Fantasy XV, ‘Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition’, will be available to play on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. The game was first released for iOS and Android earlier this year before it was adapted for Windows, and now will be available on several other non-pocket-friendly consoles. However, more options are always fantastic.
While the game was on mobile, the first episode was released as a free-to-play with other episodes locked behind microtransactions. With the new ports to PS4, Xbox One, and the Switch, the game will now be available for a one-time payment of $29.99 instead. (Or if you make it in time for the launch sale, it is now available on the Microsoft and Playstation Stores for only $17.99!)
The Nintendo Switch launch date has yet to be announced, and has likely been delayed due to the torrent of natural disasters currently happening in Japan.
