A few weeks ago after the release of Selena, Moonton came again with a hero realeasing spree once again. Yes you are right, im saying that Moonton is having a releasing spree. Moonton introduced a new hero which is Aldous or his old name Is Aulrad. Aldous is a fighter hero who was known for his painess in the late game. Even though he is a strong hero in late game, he is very weak and useless in the early game. But then he’s still powerful as he only need his 1st skill to kill the enemy. Let’s take a look at what this bad boy has to offer us with!
Contract: Transform (Passive Skill)
After every 2 basic attacks. the damage dealt by Aldous’s third attack will be transformed into a shield. Can be activated every 5 seconds.
Contract Soul Steal
Aldous unleashes his inner energy to strengthen the next basic attack, which deals physical Damage. If this attack eliminates the enemy hero or unit, the additional damage of this skill is permanency increased. When attacking minions or monsters. the damage of strengthened basic attacks are raised.
Contract Explosion
Aldous assumes a defensive stance for a few seconds. During this time, Aldous is immune to basic attacks, while damage from other forms of attacks are reduced. After 1 second, he can reactivate this skill to end it immediately, his scale armor will explode, dealing Physical Damage to surrounding enemy units. The longer the Defensive state lasts, the longer the resulting stun effect impacts the enemy unit.
Ultimate Skill: Contract Chase Fate
Aldous gains the ability to see the positions of all enemy heroes a short time. During this time, if Aldous uses this skill a second time while it is still in effect, he will charge towards one selected enemy hero. When Aldous hits that enemy hero, he will deal Physical Damage and cause knock back. Ending the charge early results in an decrease in cool-down time.
Personally, I think that he really needs to be nerf-ed as most of his skills are quite painful. His ultimate is the most unfair skill ever as he can see the whereabouts of the enemy hero and if he activates it for the second time, he chases the enemy with ridiculous speed and if the enemy hero is unlucky enough in which he hero has a seriously low health, he will most likely die from Aldous’ first skill.
The ulti is almost the same as Barathum (Spirit Breaker) from DotA’s 1st skills. Finally, Moonton did a good job with creating a new hero without ripping off from some old hero which is already in the game just like how they did with Selena and at the same time giving us a new experience.
